Established in 1957, Ace Asphalt is the largest producer of asphalt in Genesee and St. Clair Counties, Michigan. Ace Asphalt was purchased by the Edw C. Levy Group of Companies in the fall of 1983. As a leader in the Hot-Mix Asphalt industry, Ace operated one of the first drum plants in Genesee County and constructed one of the first Superpave jobs in Michigan when it was introduced back in 1998.
